Our spring Naturalist walk will explore the areas of E. Carroll not visited in last fall’s tour. Our walk will take us along the beaver pond to observe the unusual five separate dams created by the beaver colony. Along the way we will look for early signs of wildflowers and blooming trees. We will visit the upper fields which are home to songbirds like Bluebirds, Phoebes. Sparrows, Finches and Cardinals. We will conclude with a walk down the soft trail to the creek. Pawpaws and Umbrella Magnolias are found in this area along with bush honeysuckle and a variety of early spring wildflowers.
