The Wake Forest Recreation Advisory Board is hosting a series of public meetings over two weeks in June to solicit public input concerning the best use of 80 acres of undeveloped Town property in the vicinity of Forestville Road and Foundation Drive.
“Picture 80 Acres” is the name given to the Town’s efforts to solicit community input as to the best use of this land for outdoor recreational activities. Coordinated by the Recreation Advisory Board, the initiative offers area residents a variety of opportunities, including five public meetings, to share their ideas.
The first public meeting is scheduled for Monday, June 18, at 6:30 p.m. at the Wake Forest Renaissance Centre, 405 S. Brooks St.
